Global Healthcare Investment and Financing Monthly Report for August 2025

According to incomplete statistics from VBInsight, in August 2025, there were a total of 150 financing events in the global healthcare field (excluding IPOs, private placements, etc.), with a disclosed total financing amount of approximately US$3.647 billion (about 26.032 billion RMB). Among them, the domestic market saw 81 financing events, with a disclosed total financing amount of approximately US$942 million; the overseas market saw 69 financing events, with a disclosed total financing amount of approximately US$2.705 billion.

Compared to July 2025, the number of financing events in the global healthcare industry increased by approximately 11.11% in August 2025, but the total financing amount significantly decreased by about 47.27%.

In terms of large financing events, there were 10 events exceeding 100 million US dollars this month, with a cumulative financing amount reaching 1.511 billion US dollars. Among them, 9 occurred in overseas regions and 1 took place domestically. These 10 companies are: Kriya Therapeutics, a gene therapy new drug developer; EliseAI, a healthcare system developer; Strand Therapeutics, a biopharmaceutical company; Minghui Pharmaceuticals, an innovative drug developer; Apreo Health, a developer of emphysema treatment devices; Wugen, a cell therapy developer; SetPoint Medical, a developer of novel bioelectronic medicine therapies; Restor3d, a supplier of 3D-printed implants; Eight Sleep, a sleep health service provider; and Nudge, a developer of ultrasonic phased array equipment.
