Recently, the Busan Metropolitan City Government of South Korea, Thousand Oaks Biopharmaceuticals, and KCell Biosciences held a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Strategic Cooperation at the China Financial Information Center. This tripartite collaboration aims to promote international cooperation in the biotechnology field.

Jiang Jing, Deputy District Chief of Haimen District, Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, stated in her speech that Haimen has significant geographical advantages and strong economic strength. In recent years, Haimen has been fostering biotechnology as a key industry, continuously increasing policy support and optimizing the industrial development environment, successfully incubating industry-leading companies such as Thousand Oaks Biopharmaceuticals Co. Ltd. Jiang Jing noted that the establishment of a cell culture media production base in Busan by the three parties marks a critical step in Thousand Oaks Biopharmaceuticals' global layout. Haimen will continue to enhance its business environment to support international corporate cooperation and looks forward to more international partners joining to co-build the industrial ecosystem.

Thousand Oaks Biopharmaceuticals Chairman Luo Shun stated that the company has long been deeply engaged in the biotechnology field. Through this collaboration with the Busan Municipal Government and KCell Biosciences, it will integrate the superior resources of all parties to seek breakthroughs in core businesses such as cell culture media production, enhance Thousand Oaks' global supply capabilities, and bring more high-quality products to patients worldwide.

According to the relevant memorandum, the Busan Metropolitan Government has committed to providing multiple supports in the construction and operation of the base; Thousand Oaks Biopharmaceuticals will leverage its deep technical expertise to take charge of core technology research and innovation, ensuring the products have international competitiveness; KCell Biosciences, with its local resources and market experience, will assist in advancing the localization of operations and management, accelerating the integration and development of the base in the South Korean market.
