MacroLux Medical and Olympus reach distribution partnership in the global disposable urology products field

On September 4, 2025, MacroLux Medical and Olympus announced a global distribution agreement, under which Olympus will distribute MacroLux's disposable urology product series. The exclusive distribution agreement covers the United States, Canada, as well as parts of Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.

According to the agreement, MacroLux will grant Olympus the global distribution rights for several disposable cystoscopes, disposable ureteropyeloscopes, and negative pressure suction sheaths. These products can be used for visual examination of the bladder and urinary tract, as well as diagnosis and treatment of urinary system diseases such as kidney stones.

Olympus currently offers comprehensive solutions for kidney and bladder stone management, as well as visualization and interventional diagnosis and treatment options for non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC). The addition of MacroLux's disposable endoscopes and access sheath products will enable both parties to provide doctors with more flexible options and enhance the reliability of surgical visualization and precise operation.
